F/O Robert Armstrong RAFVR and crew – 103 Squadron – RAF Elsham Wolds – 1944

Failed to Return – 28/29th July 1944 – Avro Lancaster III – ME799 – Op Stuttgart.

Robert Armstrong and crew were posted to 103 Squadron at RAF Elsham Wolds from Heavy Conversion Unit 11 Base on the 11th April 1944. This experienced crew were lost nearing the end of their tour :-
