The Pamplin crew were posted to 103 Squadron at RAF Elsham Wolds from 1 Lancaster Finishing School on the 10 August 1944. The crew was as follows :-

Interestingly Selmo Verniuwe, the Belgian pilot, flew under the assumed name of Pamplin in late December and early January.
