Roll of Honour.
There are three commemorative plaques on the memorial. The front plaque commemorates WW2 servicemen and the left and right WW1 servicemen. There are 20 names in total, 15 from WW1 and 5 from WW2.
I have confirmed the identities of 13 on the Commonwealth War Graves Register and have included the information available with some background details as to the circumstances of their death from my own research as far as possible. I have no other family details or photographs of any of these men and will welcome contact with anyone who can help with this. As and when further information and photos are forthcoming I will add this to the site.
7 are as yet unconfirmed as, for various reasons there is no direct match on the Commonwealth War Graves register. I have however included details of the nearest possible candidate. As stated above I will welcome further information and photos of these men and will update the site accordingly as and when this is received.
